Kabali (2016) is a Tamil-language action film directed by Rajinikanth, and produced by Dhanush under his studio, AGS Entertainment. It features an ensemble cast, including Rajinikanth, Ajith Kumar, Vijay, Nayantara, Simran, Nassar, and Sharran in lead roles. The film tells the story of an honest, kind, and simple fisherman named Kabali, who is in love with another man's wife, but who is forced to marry her after he is mistaken for her husband. Arivazhagan stated that Thambi Ramaiah would be the film's first distributor, but was later replaced by Velayutham's Anurag Kashyap.[22][23][24] During May 2017, the team shot the final scenes of the film, which was completed by July 2017. The team shot the film's climax, which was filmed over six days with a crew of 200, and was completed by the end of July 2017. According to S.
